Do you expect Russia to buy superior US jets? It will build the best it could to save face. It will steal/borrow some ideas from western jets, employ hype, and then sell to countries that are willing to buy. It will be a waste because they will never be used anyway, unless Turkey shoots them down again with F-16s.
